Job summary

Arkansas State University-Beebe invites applications for a full-time (12) month Instructor of Nursing on the ASU-Beebe Searcy campus. This role involves teaching in our Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing Programs, supervising clinical practice, mentoring adjunct instructors, and contributing to related health courses and evening/weekend activities.

The candidate should hold a Registered Nurse license with an unencumbered AR license, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and be willing to work

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in Arkansas.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
Willing to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare and read assigned lesson plans.
Present lesson plans to students.
Administer and grade tests and student assignments.
Supervise students in clinical education.
Work with supervisor regarding nursing education teaching materials.
Collaborate with faculty and administration on curriculum development and updates.
Travel to other ASU-Beebe campuses and clinical sites for teaching and meetings.
Assist students with clinical procedures and assignments.
