Job summary

Arkansas State University-Beebe seeks a part-time nursing instructor to teach on the Searcy campus. The instructor may supervise clinical practice and teach CPR, CNA, and other short nursing-related classes as directed. The position may support the evening and weekend nursing program as needed.

The ideal candidate will have nursing credentials and experience in clinical settings, with flexibility to assist with various health-related courses and program needs on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent; plus two years hospital clinical nursing experience, or an Associate Degree in Nursing with four years hospital experience.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing principles and experienced in the clinical setting.
• Position may involve supervising clinical practice and teaching CPR, CNA and other nursing classes as directed.

ASU -Beebe is seeking a part-time nursing instructor to teach on the Searcy campus. The instructor may have to supervise clinical practice; teach other health-related classes, such as CPR , CNA , other short nursing related classes as directed, and assist with the evening and weekend nursing program as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum qualifications of a formal education equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred, plus two years of hospital clinical nursing experience or an Associate Degree (diploma from an approved school of nursing) in Nursing plus four years hospital clinical nursing experience. Must be knowledgeable of the principles in nursing and experienced in the clinical setting.
