Job summary

Wesco invites you to join its twelve-month Managed Inventory Development Program designed to prepare Associates for opportunities within Wesco. You will gain knowledge of warehouse operations, develop project management skills, and support customers while expanding professional networks.

Completion leads to a full-time role. You will work under senior team supervision and be paired with a peer mentor; the program emphasizes hands-on experience, data collection, and cross-functional exposure

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree or college diploma; business or supply chain focus preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 25%–50% locally and nationally.
• Experience in B2B industrial distribution is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Support project development from start to finish.
• Collect on-site customer inventory data.
• Digitize customer data for end-to-end inventory management.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with senior management.
• Develop full-scale project plans and communications.
• Communicate updates to manager.
• Align activities with safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.
• Ensure inventory counts and communicate with warehouse staff.
• Support e-commerce solutions.
• Learn Wesco systems that support business activities.
