Marvin Composites hires a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead a production shift in our Fargo, ND fiberglass manufacturing plant. You’ll coach associates, assign work, and adjust priorities to hit safety, quality, and productivity targets while building a culture of accountability.

This is a 12‑hour rotating day shift with a focus on developing talent, meeting schedules, and delivering results through teamwork and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Three or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Two-year degree or higher.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and non‑verbal, to effectively lead and support your team.
• Analytical ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills guiding, developing and supporting a team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop associates to build skills and strengthen team culture and engagement, aligned with Marvin Composites' mission and values, as measured by retention and turnover.
• Create a safe work environment by modeling safe behaviors and reinforcing commitment to safety standards, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, training, and housekeeping expectations.
• Ensure quality standards and drive productivity by effectively distributing work, developing associates, and monitoring performance against key metrics such as efficiency, uptime, and output.
• Utilize labor effectively to support on‑time delivery, meet production schedules, and achieve operational targets.
• Lead clear and timely communication of company updates, production performance, and shift expectations through pre‑shift meetings, reporting tools, and daily updates.
• Hold associates accountable to performance expectations through consistent feedback, attendance management, standard work practices, and regular one‑on‑one conversations.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues, determining root causes, and leading structured problem‑solving efforts through coaching and mentoring.
