Job summary

Midwest Renewable Energy (MRE) is seeking a Production Operator to join a rotating 12-hour shift team. You’ll monitor and analyze plant operations, collect samples, and report results to the Production Manager and QA/QC leadership.

The role offers time off, benefits, and a supportive team environment in a growing ethanol production facility. Responsibilities include operating processes, start-up/shutdown procedures, logging, data readings, and quality control tests.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Able to communicate verbally and in written form to all supervisors.
• Able to work effectively as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate all processes associated with the plant.
• Follow procedures for plant start-up, shutdown, cleaning and batching.
• Keep accurate and timely logs.
• Complete all readings in your designated areas.
• Respond to collected data and make adjustment to optimize plant operation.
• Keep plant facilities clean.
• Do quality control tests on product streams.
