Job summary

Dakota Ethanol, a growing ethanol producer, is seeking a Plant Operator to run plant processes, monitor the DCS system, and ensure product quality. The role includes handling water chemistry, QC tests, logs, and safe operation of equipment.

The position requires lifting up to 60 lbs, willingness to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights), and adherence to OSHA safety rules. Competitive pay and benefits accompany a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or trade certificate preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day and/or night.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to comply with safety and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all processes of the plant.
• Operate the DCS control system for plant operations.
• Test and maintain proper water chemistry in boiler and cooling tower.
• Perform quality control tests on product streams.
• Keep accurate and timely production logs.
• Load trucks with product and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow procedures.
