Job summary

Clorox is hiring a machine operator to operate, maintain and troubleshoot production line equipment at our Atlanta-West facility. The role focuses on keeping lines efficient, minimizing downtime and upholding safe practices in a heavy industrial setting.

Starting hourly rate is $24.63 with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system. This role uses rotating swing shifts (7AM–7PM and 7PM–7AM) with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical coursework preferred.
• 1–2 years machine operator experience ideal; 3+ years highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and read technical manuals/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery, ensuring start/setup and running times are maintained accurately.
• Perform changeovers on lines/equipment following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Troubleshoot, fix mechanical malfunctions, product jams using mechanical knowledge.
• Identify quality issues and collaborate to meet quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies/parts and order replacements as needed.
• Assist with improvement projects and equipment installations with engineering team.
