• Perform data collection and observation and monitor patients
• Take and record vital signs and input/output
• Use standard hospital equipment safely
• Assist with ADLs and activities of daily living
• Document care and progress in the medical record
• Answer call lights promptly and communicate patient needs
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations
