Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator for the D Shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 6pm–5am) in Forest, Mississippi. The role entails loading, unloading, and processing products using a motor-powered forklift in a cold warehouse environment.

Orientation includes full forklift re-training and certification, with PPE supplied as needed. Shifts run twelve hours, with heavy standing, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and frequent movement.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehousing experience in the past year (12 months).
• 6 months forklift driving in the last 12 months.
• Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• PPE will be provided for additional hearing protection as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (stand-up and reach) to load/unload and move product.
• Use handheld scanner to track products during movement.
• Perform receiver, put-away, replenisher, picker, and loader tasks as required.
• Follow Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines at all times.
