Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking applicants for a position in its poultry operations. The role runs Wednesday through Saturday with shifts from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm and a pay rate of 17.85 per hour. Candidates must be able to lift 70 pounds, work Saturdays and Sundays, and maintain proper paperwork and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Rotate and pull product by earliest dates.
• Sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas.
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Able to communicate with proper personnel.
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must abide by all department safety rules.
• May be subject to rotation.
