Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Bedford, TX is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides, CNAs and in-home caregivers to provide non-medical support to seniors in their homes and facilities. You will offer companionship, assist with ADLs and IADLs, and help families manage dementia care with dignity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of senior caregiving experience (agency, facility, or private client).
• Dementia or Alzheimer's experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs as needed.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• Tolerant of small pets and able to communicate schedules and emergencies by phone or email.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding.
• Help with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, medication reminders, transportation.
• Support family members by teaching safe care techniques, especially for dementia care.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Follow the client's care plan and report changes in condition or needs.

Shift Details & Availability

• Availability on weekdays and weekends for 12 hour shifts ( days/overnight).
