Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is seeking a 1107-Hot Mix Operator at our Wayland, MI facility on 2nd shift (4pm–12am). You will support the Production team by weighing ingredients, managing blender feeds, and keeping precise records to sustain efficient drying operations.

The role requires ability to lift 50+ pounds, operate a sit-down forklift, follow procedures, and communicate clearly. Overtime and weekend work are expected; shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and moving materials safely.
• Ability to weigh ingredients accurately in both grams and pounds.
• Must follow process documents and maintain clear written records.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (4pm–12am) and lift 50+ pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Weigh ingredients accurately in grams and pounds.
• Add ingredients to blender in correct order and timing.
• Learn all blending operations for all products.
• Maintain accurate records of blending and production data.
• Support drying operations by blending at required rates.
• C.I.P. and clean related blending equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.
• Follow GMP, SOP, HACCP, LOTO, and food safety programs.
• Operate safely with sit-down forklift when required.

About the Role:

The Hot Mix Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Must be able to correctly weigh ingredients in both grams and pounds.
• Must understand the importance of adding ingredients to blender in the proper order.
• Must be able to learn all blending operations for all products.
• Must be able to keep accurate records.
• Must be able to blend at a rate, which will keep the drying operations going.
• Must be able to C.I.P. and clean related blending equipment.
• Must be able to perform related jobs and other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift fifty (50)-plus (+) pounds.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.

Important Details:

This is a full-time position on 2nd shift working Thursday through Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

• 2nd shift operates 4pm to 12am

Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.

About You:
