Bashas' Inc. is hiring a Courtesy Clerk for the Mesa, AZ location. You will perform front-end tasks such as bagging groceries, collecting carts, and helping customers, while maintaining a clean store environment.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries in an orderly fashion.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and assist customers to their cars.

• Keep store and restrooms clean and tidy.
• Assist customers in locating items throughout the store (go backs).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:Our Courtesy Clerks will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the front end of the store, including bagging groceries, cleaning, collecting carts, and will providea memorable experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities:A Courtesy Clerk is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

A Courtesy Clerk’s responsibilities include:

• Bagging customers' groceries in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot, assist customers to their cars with their groceries
• Always maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude toward all customers and other Team Members
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of store and restrooms
• Assist with “go backs” and accompany customers to locate items throughout the store
• All other related duties as assigned

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
