Job summary

Raley's is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support front-end operations and deliver a memorable customer experience. Responsibilities include bagging groceries, collecting carts, and assisting customers to their cars in a fast-paced store environment.

You will maintain cleanliness, help locate items, and perform other duties as assigned, while upholding a friendly, service-oriented attitude toward customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age. Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude required.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and assist customers to their cars.
• Maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Maintain store and restroom cleanliness and tidiness.
• Assist with locating items throughout the store and with go-backs.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

Our Courtesy Clerks will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the front end of the store, including bagging groceries, cleaning, collecting carts, and will provide a memorable experience for all our customers.

Responsibilities:

A Courtesy Clerk is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

A Courtesy Clerk’s Responsibilities Include

• Bagging customers' groceries in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot, assist customers to their cars with their groceries
• Always maintain a cheerful, helpful attitude toward all customers and other Team Members
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of store and restrooms
• Assist with “go backs” and accompany customers to locate items throughout the store
• All other related duties as assigned

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period: Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
