Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced, insured 1099 roofing contractors for residential service work orders across multiple states. You are paid directly by us for completed work, with materials provided when needed.

This role suits those who operate their own roofing business and want a steady stream of fast-paying jobs. You must have general liability insurance, own essential equipment, and be a licensed roofer where required.

Qualifications

• General Liability Insurance (COI) required.
• Licensed roofer in your state where applicable.
• Must own a truck, trailer, ladder, and roofing tools.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and job site cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs to identify leaks, damage, and ventilation needs.
• Perform minor repairs and larger replacements (as needed) with proper estimates.
• Document work with photos and notes in the portal.
• Coordinate material needs and onboarding for assignments.

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced, insured 1099 roofing contractors to support residential service work orders from our national property management partners.

This is not a lead-generation service—you are paid directly by us for completed work, and materials are provided when needed.

Industry-Standard Roofing Skills We're Looking For

Roof Inspections & Diagnostics

• Leak detection
• Storm damage assessments
• Flashing and ventilation inspections
• Moisture or mold risk identification

Minor Roof Repairs & Maintenance

• Shingle or tile replacement
• Nail pops and small puncture repairs
• Sealant application around vents and flashing
• Gutter cleaning and minor repairs

Roof Replacements & Large Repairs (Estimate Required)

• Tear-offs and underlayment installation
• Full or partial re-roofing (asphalt, TPO, tile, etc.)
• Soffit and fascia board replacement
• Attic ventilation solutions

Job Documentation

• Before, during, and after photos
• Clear job notes submitted through the portal
• Material needs communicated in advance

Contractor Requirements

• General Liability Insurance (COI required)
• Valid W9 and Tax ID
• Licensed roofer in your state (where applicable)
• Must own a truck, trailer, ladder, and roofing tools
• Smartphone required for portal use (job access, photos, updates)
• Strong communication, professionalism, and job site cleanliness
• Must complete a short onboarding call before receiving assignments

Disqualifiers

• No active insurance (General Liability and Workers' Comp required)
• Not licensed (where required)
• Poor communication or incomplete job history
• No ladder or inability to access residential roofs
• Unwillingness to complete onboarding or training call
