Job summary

Proof is seeking Process Servers to join its network of independent contractors to deliver legal documents in your area. Set your own schedule and workload, and track earnings via the Proof app.

As a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for obtaining any required licensure, owning a vehicle, and maintaining professionalism while serving papers across Jones County and surrounding areas. Training is not provided by Proof.

Qualifications

• Experience in process serving or related legal field.
• Must maintain required licensing as per state law.
• Access to a smartphone and mobile app for tracking serves.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Certification: You must be a Licensed, Registered, or Certified Process Server if your state or county laws require it.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with iPhone/iPad or Android devices and capable of using a mobile app.
• Document Handling: Ability to scan and print documents. Free printing services are available via FedEx.
• Experience: Prior experience in process serving or a related field (law enforcement, private investigations, etc.) is required, as Proof is not an employer and does not provide training.
  National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS) membership is preferred.
