Job summary

Opterra Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to service cell phone tower sites across South Georgia. The crew will operate remotely from a storage facility and travel daily or overnight depending on the route.

This hands-on role requires experience with landscape maintenance equipment, trailer operation, and working independently as part of a remote crew. The ideal candidate will have experience with weed eaters, mowers, chainsaws, and be willing to travel

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance or similar outdoor labor required.
• Experience backing trailers required.
• Must be comfortable outdoors in heat, rain and changing weather conditions.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel South Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance around cell phone tower sites.
• Operate weed eaters, mowers, chainsaws, pole saws and other equipment.
• Apply herbicide as directed and in compliance with safety standards.
• Cut and remove brush, small trees and vegetation around tower compounds and access areas.
• Maintain vegetation to meet site standards.
• Safely load, unload, and transport equipment.
• Back and maneuver trailers safely in tight or uneven areas.
• Maintain tools, trucks, and trailers in clean, working condition.
• Follow daily work orders, route schedules, and safety procedures.
• Work out of town as needed, including overnight stays.

We are hiring a full-time Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to service cell phone tower sites across South Georgia. This position will include a mix of in-town work and out-of-town travel. The crew will operate remotely out of a storage facility and travel daily or overnight depending on the assigned route.

This is a hands‑on field position that requires experience with landscape maintenance equipment, trailer operation, and working independently as part of a remote crew.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance around cell phone tower sites
• Operate weed eaters, mowers, chainsaws, pole saws, and other landscape equipment
• Apply herbicide as directed and in accordance with safety standards
• Cut and remove brush, small trees, and vegetation around tower compounds and access areas
• Mow, trim, and maintain vegetation to meet site standards
• Safely load, unload, secure, and transport equipment
• Back and maneuver trailers safely in tight or uneven areas
• Maintain equipment, tools, trucks, and trailers in clean and working condition
• Follow daily work orders, route schedules, and safety procedures
• Work out of town as needed, including overnight stays

Requirements

• Prior landscape maintenance, vegetation management, or similar outdoor labor experience required
• Experience backing trailers is required
• Experience using weed eaters, mowers, chainsaws, pole saws, and similar equipment required
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in heat, rain, and changing weather conditions
• Must be able to lift, carry, and operate equipment throughout the workday
• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work with limited supervision
• Must be willing to travel throughout South Georgia
• Herbicide application experience is preferred
• Valid driver’s license

Travel and Per Diem

This position will include both local work and out-of-town work. Overnight travel may be required depending on the route and workload. Employees will receive a daily per diem for approved out-of-town stays.

Schedule

This is a full‑time position. Work schedules may vary based on weather, route needs, and customer requirements.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has previous landscape maintenance experience, is comfortable working around trucks and trailers, can safely operate common vegetation management equipment, and is willing to travel as part of a remote field crew.
