Job Description

Position: Assistant Store Manager

Location: CosmoProf Beauty

Essential Functions

Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates, ensuring optimal customer experiences, overseeing store operations, and maintaining brand standards. They develop strategies to meet KPIs and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in these areas and assume primary duties when the Store Manager is absent.

Primary Duties

• Brand (30%): Supervise and support associates' daily goals, ensuring excellent customer experiences, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining brand standards such as merchandising, marketing, and dress code.
• People (30%): Engage, train, and develop team members, recruit externally, identify strengths and opportunities for growth, and foster positive relations and diversity.
• Operations (30%): Execute company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and ensure store procedures are followed, including digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment.
• Safety/Loss Prevention (10%): Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Preferred: 3+ years retail/customer service experience, 1+ year management experience
• Effective communication and team leadership skills
• Availability to meet business needs
• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
