Job summary

Venon Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Data/Platform Engineer to join a U.S.-based client team. You will design and maintain scalable Azure-based data and platform solutions, build production systems, data pipelines, and observability tooling, and ensure security and privacy protections across telemetry.” You’ll implement OpenTelemetry pipelines, work with AKS/Container Apps, API Management, ADX, and Key Vault, and collaborate with U.S.

stakeholders in English.

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1/C2) with fluent communication with U.S.-based clients and teams.
• 5+ years of experience in software, platform, or data engineering, shipping and supporting production systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience or equivalent cloud PaaS knowledge.
• 2+ years building observability/telemetry pipelines using OpenTelemetry (OTLP, Collectors, spans, traces, semantic conventions).
• Experience with Azure PaaS services: Container Apps/AKS, API Management, ADX, Application Insights, ADLS Gen2/Blob, Key Vault, Entra ID.
• Strong Python or Node.js, plus Bash; regex, entropy detection, redaction/tokenization for PII.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data and platform solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and support production systems, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and platform services.
• Build observability and telemetry pipelines using OpenTelemetry (OTLP, Collectors, spans, traces).
• Work with Azure PaaS services: Container Apps/AKS, API Management, ADX, Application Insights, ADLS Gen2/Blob, Key Vault, Entra ID.
• Develop automation and tooling using Python, Node.js, and Bash; implement PII/secret scrubbing techniques.
• Enforce RBAC, private networking, access controls, and auditing across systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability, scalability, security, and observability.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders and communicate clearly in English.

Job Opportunity only available for professionals located in Latin America . We are looking for an experienced Data / Platform Engineer to join our team and work closely with a U.S.-based client on building and supporting scalable, secure, and production-ready cloud platforms and data infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong experience in software, platform, or data engineering, with hands-on expertise in Azure PaaS , cloud infrastructure, and observability pipelines. This role is particularly focused on building reliable telemetry solutions using OpenTelemetry , while ensuring that data and platform services meet security, privacy, and production requirements.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1/C2) with the ability to communicate fluently with U.S.-based clients and technical teams.
• 5+ years of experience in software, platform, data engineering, or a related field, with experience shipping and supporting production systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience , or experience with another major cloud provider combined with strong transferable knowledge of Azure PaaS.
• 2+ years of experience building observability or telemetry pipelines . Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry , including:
• OTLP
• OpenTelemetry Collectors
• Spans and traces
• Semantic conventions
• Experience working with Azure PaaS services such as:
• Azure Container Apps or AKS
• Azure API Management
• Azure Data Explorer (ADX/Kusto) and/or Application Insights
• ADLS Gen2 / Blob Storage
• Azure Key Vault
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Strong experience with Python or Node.js , plus Bash .

• Work extensively with Azure PaaS services, including Azure Container Apps or AKS, API Management, Azure Data Explorer (ADX/Kusto), Application Insights, ADLS Gen2/Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID .
• Develop automation, tooling, and platform components using Python or Node.js , as well as Bash .
• Implement processes to identify and protect sensitive information within telemetry and data, including PII and secret scrubbing, redaction, tokenization, regex-based detection, and entropy-based detection .
• Implement and maintain security controls including RBAC, private networking, access management, and auditing .
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve the reliability, scalability, security, and observability of platform and data systems.
• Collaborate directly with U.S.-based technical stakeholders and communicate technical solutions clearly in English.
• Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions across data, cloud, and platform engineering initiatives.
