Nevada State University invites applications for the position of 1000 Hour Appointment - Assistant Athletic Trainer. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is essential to provide critical support as we build our athletic programs as the university and athletic department commit to athlete safety. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is a licensed healthcare professional trained in injury prevention, diagnosis, emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation. This position will assist the Head Athletic Trainer to ensure that injuries are managed immediately and effectively, student athletes return to play safely and on an appropriate timeline, and life-threatening situations are handled with professional care.
