Job summary

Spriggs Excavation, Inc. is seeking a Civil Superintendent for a 100% travel role. You will oversee all jobsite activities, coordinate vendors and SEI staff, and ensure safety and project success across multiple states.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role requires strong leadership and on-site presence. Expect to travel continuously, work with clients on-site, and manage crews up to 50 workers while maintaining project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with significant operating experience.
• Workplace safety practices and adherence to rules.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crew, schedules, project progress, and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors and on-site staff with PM support.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and maintain client relationships.
• Oversee mobilization and equipment maintenance on site.
