Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time Dentist to join Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to incarcerated patients, including exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontics.

Required: DDS or DMD from an accredited program and a valid Idaho dental license, with the ability to pass a background check and obtain agency clearance where applicable.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program.
• Active Idaho dental license.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
• Support a clinically interesting, diverse patient population in a correctional setting and maintain high standards of care.
• Flexible scheduling with one 8-hour shift per week.
