Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a part-time Dentist to join Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. The clinician will provide comprehensive dental care to incarcerated patients, performing exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride, and endodontic treatments.

The role requires a DDS/DMD, Idaho license, and ability to obtain security clearance. Flexible scheduling includes one 8-hour shift per week, with benefits in a secure correctional environment.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program.
• Experience in providing comprehensive dental services in a correctional, community health, or indigent environment preferred.
• Valid Idaho dental license.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
