Job summary

Fusion Academy in Westlake Village, CA is hiring a Math and Science Teacher for our fully personalized, 1‑to‑1 private school serving grades 5–12. You’ll shape schedules, design creative lessons, mentor students, and collaborate with colleagues to personalize education emotionally, socially, and academically.

A Bachelor’s degree is required; the ability to teach a broad range of math and science courses is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability to teach a wide range of science and math courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Integrated, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus).
• Experience with students including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
