Job summary

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. An English Teacher role offers flexible scheduling, creative lesson design, and collaboration with passionate colleagues to personalize education for every student—academically, socially, and emotionally.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with a strong ability to teach English across multiple courses, and is committed to social-emotional learning in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of English courses (English Composition, Literature, and Language Arts), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
