Job summary

Kentwood Public Schools is hiring a ParaProfessional - Special Education 1:1 to support a dedicated student and assist in general classroom activities. The role includes working with the student in instructional and non-instructional settings while maintaining data on progress and participating in CPI training.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or higher, or an associate degree or approval of state assessment.
• Experience with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Familiar with CPI training or willingness to participate.

Responsibilities

• Assist and reinforce learning for students individually or in small groups.
• Support classroom staff with assignments and assessments.
• Document student progress in data/tracking systems.
• Assist with non-instructional duties and supervision as needed.
