Job summary

Lake Oswego School District is seeking a Temporary Special Education Assistant I (SEA I) for a 1:1 assignment at Lakeridge Middle School. This role covers 7 hours per day over 184 days (prorated) with hourly pay ranging from $20.75 to $28.47, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate Degree or two years of study at a community college/university is preferred.
• Ability to communicate English fluently both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan day-to-day routines and IEP/504 objectives with teachers.
• Provide instructional and behavioral support for students with IEPs.
• Assist with assessments and document student progress.
• Maintain confidentiality and supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and bus areas.
• Assist with health needs and safety procedures and de-escalation practices.
