Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Fluent English with strong reading/writing skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Ability to work well with diverse staff, students and families.
• Must meet district safety and physical requirements including training.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and supervise students.
• Support individual and small group instruction for students with IEPs or behavioral plans.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and health-related information.
• Perform clerical duties and help manage classroom materials and safety routines.
• Assist with health-related tasks and mobility support as trained.
