Humanus Corporation is hiring Full-Time Paraprofessionals (1:1 Aides/Teacher Assistants) to support students with special needs in a classroom setting in Downingtown, PA. Immediate start with a daily schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, and PA clearances are required. Experience in special education or behavioral support is preferred and a high school diploma is required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate’s Degree or two years of college preferred.
• Experience in special education or behavioral support settings preferred.
• Experience supporting students with complex behavioral or emotional needs preferred.
• Current PA Clearances required: FBI Fingerprints, PA Criminal Background Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Act 24, Act 168, Mandated Reporter.

Responsabilidades

• Provide classroom and 1:1 student support.
• Guide students toward individualized academic, behavioral, and developmental goals.
• Assist students with classroom activities and daily routines.
• Support student learning, growth, and engagement.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement and monitor student support programs.
• Promote students’ social, emotional, physical, and personal development.
