Job description

We are currently seeking Paraprofessionals (1:1 Aides/Teacher Assistants) for full-time positions in the Landenberg, PA area. There are also openings in the Norristown, West Chester, and Downingtown areas. In this role, you will assist classroom teachers in supporting special education students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs, including providing one-on-one support and implementing basic educational programming. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Eligible candidates must have a HS Diploma and up-to-date clearances.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma
  • An Associate’s Degree or completion of two years of post‑secondary education from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
• Must have up-to-date PA Clearances
  • FBI Fingerprints, PA Criminal Background, PA Child Abuse, Act 24, Act 168, Mandated Reporter
