Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or its educational equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with children with disabilities.
• Ability to meet essential physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Support a school-age child with I/DD to achieve goals set by the teacher.
• Assist in implementing individualized goals and plans.
• Follow safety policies and procedures for student care.
• Assist with personal care and ADLs, including toileting.
• Support social, behavioral, and communication development.
• Assist with transfers and positioning as directed.
• Support during emergency evacuations and daily routines.
