Job summary

ChildServe is seeking a Skill Development Assistant to provide 1:1 personal care and skill development for children with special health care needs in home and community settings. Flexible scheduling often after 4pm or on weekends, with ongoing training and supervision supplied.

You will document observations, support daily living skills, and assist with transportation if needed. A background in caregiving for children with special health care needs is preferred, and strong written and spoken

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with or caring for children with special health care needs preferred.
• Ability to document observations and services accurately.
• Reliable access to the internet to complete required trainings and documentation.
• English reading, writing, and spoken communication proficient.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal care and skill development.
• Supervise and train children in home and community settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of observations and services.
• Support transportation as an authorized driver if required.
