Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee the nursing process and deliver individualized student care in a school setting in Tucson, AZ.

The role is contract full time with a pay rate of $40 per hour, requiring RN licensure and school nurse experience; CPR and health-certifications may be required. Join our team to support students and collaborate with district staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing.
• One year of school nursing experience, preferred.
• Pediatric experience, preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing process implementation and deliver individualized student care.
• Ensure services are provided according to physician orders and school policies.
