The Stepping Stones Group in Vista, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in the 26/27 school year. This full-time position supports a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.

You’ll work with experienced clinicians, receive clinical backing, and access a dedicated clinical team that understands school-based nursing. This role offers consistent pay and strong professional support.

Competenze

Active RN license valid in California.
Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
Current BLS CPR/AED certification.
Demonstrated competency in student-specific skills (SFS, PT, MA, TRA, etc.).
Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment.
Experience working with Pediatric population.

Mansioni

Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day.
Implement and monitor student health plans.
Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned.
Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership.
Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support.
Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements.
