Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is recruiting for a 1:1 School LPN/LVN in Bellevue, NE. The role is a contract, full-time position (40 hours/week) with a pay rate of $38 per hour.

Responsibilities include monitoring students' health and promoting wellness within the school setting. The ideal candidate holds a current LPN/LVN license in the service state, with preferred school nurse and pediatric experience, and valid CPR certification if applicable.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where services are provided.
• One year of school nurse experience preferred.
• One-year pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulatory).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Identify and address health concerns in students within the school setting.
• Promote general wellness and provide health education.
• Support disease prevention efforts and monitor student health throughout the school day.
• Refer to appropriate healthcare resources when necessary.

Location: Bellevue, NE

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN is responsible for identifying andaddressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This roleincludes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supportingdisease prevention efforts. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student’s physicalcondition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcareresources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the SchoolLPN/LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state educationcodes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state which services arebeing provided

• One year of school nurse experience, preferred

• One-year pediatric experience, pre

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
