Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for clinic-based assignments in Lafayette, Indiana. This contract-full-time position offers $30 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, and a variety of clinic settings under RN/Physician supervision.

The ideal candidate will hold an active LPN license in the practicing state, have clinic experience, and demonstrate strong patient care, critical thinking, and adherence to nursing standards. Benefits and weekly pay are included.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license in the state of practice.
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LicensedPractical/Vocational Nurse works in a variety of remote or clinic settings toserve a specific population's health and/or wellness needs. These variety of sites include but are notlimited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, jobsafety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatricto geriatric age populations.

The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates theability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner underthe supervision of an RN or Physician.The Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse demonstrates critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursingstandards and is accountable in providing safe, quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License in statewhere they are practicing
• One year experience as an LPN/LVN in a clinic settingpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
