Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• CNA Certification and current competency documentation.
• CPR/First Aid certification or completion within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality of medical and educational concerns in the school setting.
• Collaborates with the student’s nurse, teacher and therapists to provide an optimal educational experience.
• Demonstrates professional behavior when interacting with staff, parents and students.
• Provides 1:1 direct and indirect student care focused on safety and participation.
• Assists with the student’s participation in activities, including swimming when necessary.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal signs and symptoms of common diseases and conditions.
