Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to support contracted patient care in North Carolina. You will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, initiate plans of care, and adjust as patient needs evolve. Administer medications per orders and monitor responses, while maintaining documentation and coordination with physicians and supervisors.

Requirements include an active RN license for the state, current health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS. Prior RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state where you practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by the facility/contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate client care for contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes in response to patient condition changes and reports updates to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; monitors and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and education needs; supports discharge planning.

Salary: $32 - $34 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
