Job summary

Mountainview Healthcare Center is seeking caring and reliable Companions to provide dedicated 1:1 support for residents within the facility. This role focuses on non-clinical assistance, companionship, and daily comfort.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong observation and communication skills, and a compassionate, reliable nature. You will work as part of a healthcare team to enhance residents' safety, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, hospitality, childcare, or related field a plus.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and reliable.
• Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant 1:1 supervision for assigned resident(s).
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Ensure resident safety by monitoring activities and reporting concerns.
• Assist with non-clinical daily needs (comfort measures, reminders, etc.).
• Escort residents to activities, meals, or appointments within the facility.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
