Job summary

Mountainview Healthcare Center is seeking caring and reliable Companions to provide dedicated 1:1 support for residents. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents who require extra supervision and companionship.

The Companion will deliver non-clinical support on a 1:1 basis, working as part of a compassionate healthcare team to enhance residents' daily lives. Flexible scheduling offered, including full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, hospitality, childcare, or related field a plus.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and reliable; able to work as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant 1:1 supervision for assigned resident(s).
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Ensure resident safety by monitoring activities and reporting concerns.
• Assist with non-clinical daily needs (comfort measures, reminders, etc.).
• Escort residents to activities, meals, or appointments within the facility.
