Job summary

Spring Academy, a private Seattle school offering one-to-one instruction, seeks an experienced tutor for the upcoming school year. You will tailor instruction to individual students with learning needs, supporting their reading, writing, and math growth.

The role requires 15–25 hours per week with a Monday-Thursday schedule. Compensation is $40 per hour and includes health+dental+vision insurance and a 401k plan. Relevant teaching experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (or equivalent certification).
• Experience teaching Reading, Writing, and Math in grades 2-8.
• Experience instructing students with learning disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted instruction in a 1:1 setting.
• Address learning goals for students at private Seattle schools.
• Maintain a schedule of 15–25 hours per week, Mon–Thu (2 or 4 days).
