Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in implementation of age / developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Assist in maintaining an orderly, clean, welcoming classroom for children and parents.
• Present notes, communication, messages to teacher immediately upon receiving from parent or other adult.
• Interact positively with children at all times.
• Maintain visual supervision of children at all times.
• Observe individual children daily and provide input for conferences.
• Maintain documentation for each child as directed by teacher.
• Keep community areas neat and clean, including playground, bathrooms, snack area, etc.
• NAEYC compliance and weekly portfolio updates.
