Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Sharpsburg, GA is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver to provide in-home care and support for seniors. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation, while ensuring safety and companionship.

The role offers 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to earn CEUs through online training. Experience and GA PCA certification are preferred, with CPR/First Aid and TB screening required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and GA PCA certificate.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test within 12 months.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful nature, good communicator, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

GA Personal Care Aide certificate

CPR & First Aid certification

TB screening within 12 months

Valid GA driver’s license
