Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate RN to provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care in a Vernon, NJ home setting. The case involves tracheostomy, ventilator support, and G-J tube feedings, with long-term, consistent hours on a 24/7 coverage model.

This role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS certification, and the ability to work in the United States. Experience with pediatric home care and airway management is preferred, with flexible scheduling and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Experience with trach, ventilator, and G-J tube care preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Physical exam within 12 months.
• PPD/QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years).
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability.
• Manage and monitor tracheostomy and ventilator support.
• Perform trach care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered.
• Administer and monitor G-J tube feedings.
• Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the family and pediatric clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
