Job summary

Everett Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator to support students within the Achieve program, assisting with IEP goals, health plans, and behavior interventions. This role may involve transport-related duties and close collaboration with special education staff.

Responsibilities include supporting academic and behavioral goals, implementing intervention plans, and ensuring safe, respectful interactions with students across various settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Ability to assist with behavior and social needs.
• Familiarity with health plans and, if applicable, medical delegations.
• May require Right Response training in some programs.
• Potentially ride the bus with a student.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assist with academic, behavior/social, and/or adaptive needs.
• Help implement Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Assist in health plans and medical delegations per student plans.
• May require Right Response training depending on program.
• May accompany a student on bus ride.
