Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. seeks an Outreach Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a lively 7-year-old boy living in the Durham area. The role involves engaging in activities such as climbing, swimming, trips to the beach, and gentle behavioural support across non-term time.

• Experience supporting children with SEMH/SEND is essential.
• Ability to use calm, structured approaches to behaviour.
• Able to engage in active, safe, age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 daily supervision for the child during non-term time.
• Facilitate planned activities such as climbing and swimming.
• Support the child's emotional regulation using movement and reassurance.
• Build a trusting relationship to ensure safety and wellbeing.
