Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for a student in a school setting in California. The role offers competitive pay and flexible scheduling, with opportunities for continuing education through college partnerships.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care for students with complex medical needs and accompanying the student on bus routes as needed.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year LVN/LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (e.g., Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring).
• Assist with transportation and accompany patient on bus to/from school.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube Feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, Diabetic care, etc.),

• Will ride the bus to and from school with patient

Requirements:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensures in the state in which the nurse practices in

• Current Health Certificate (per facility).

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

• Current BLS card.

• One year prior LVN/LPN experience preferred.
