Springfield School District 186 Lee School in Springfield, IL is seeking a Paraprofessional 1:1 for K‑2 STRIVE. The role supports classroom teachers and supervises students in lunchroom and bus routines. 7 hours per day, 191 days per year, CPI training required.

Starting date is immediate. Eligibility includes educator licensure or valid Illinois sub licensure, high school diploma, and ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with staff and students.

Qualificações

• Must be 18+ (Pre-K–5th) or 20+ (6th–12th).
• Educator licensure or 90‑day sub licensure is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist teacher with students in the classroom.
• Supervise students in lunchroom and playground.
• Assist with materials using copying machine under teacher supervision.
• Assist with feeding and toileting of students needing total care.
• Assist with lifting/positioning of non-ambulatory students.
• Assist students with self-help skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
