San Juan Unified is seeking an Instructional Assistant III for 1:1 student support at La Vista Center in California. The position is permanent, part-time (6 hours/day, Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–3:30 PM), with salary range $20.64–$27.23 per hour and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Severe/Emotionally Disturbed students desirable.
• Possession of California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license (if applicable).
• Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation item: A, B, C, or D from the list (A: SJUSD proficiency exam; B: CBEST; C: two years college transcripts; D: A.A. degree).

Responsibilities

• Provide a 1:1 aide for a student at La Vista Center.
• Support 6-hour workday, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM.
