Job summary

San Juan Unified School District in California is seeking an Instructional Assistant II to provide 1:1 support at Schweitzer. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be prepared to complete required tests (CBEST or IA Proficiency Test), and obtain a California Class C driver license if driving is required.

Qualifications

• Must attach high school diploma or equivalent and one document from the list.
• CBEST or IA Proficiency Test is required for consideration.
• Willingness to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days if driving is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 instructional support to students served in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Assist in small groups and support teacher needs in General Education and Special Day Class settings.
